Introduction
Qalam Learning App, a product of Software 360 Private Limited, is more than just an edu-tech solution – it’s a movement. We are an edu-tech company devoted to providing highly adaptive and effective learning solutions, with a vision to revolutionize education in Pakistan.
Our vision is fuelled by an alarming reality: according to UNICEF, Pakistan currently has the world’s second-highest number of out-of-school children, with an estimated 22.8 million children aged 5-16 not attending school. This represents 44 per cent of the total population in this age group. Of this number, around 12 million are girls, reflecting a deeply ingrained gender disparity in our education system.
With Pakistan being the sixth most populated country in the world, more than 40 percent of its women have never received an education. This leads to one of the lowest literacy rates on the continent, a fact that we are determined to change.
We aspire to “Empower education for 2 million out-of-school children in Pakistan by 2030”. We are driven by a commitment to make quality education engaging, effective, and accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances.
